Library News:

๐Ÿ““  I LOVE TO READ ๐Ÿ““

This year we are doing something a little different.

๐Ÿ““We have a guest reader joining the grade 5&6 class via ZOOM. She is a retired Teacher from our area and she has written a book called โ€œ No Ordinary Catsโ€

The book is from a cats point of view and is very interesting.

She will join us to read from her book and then a Q & A  time is allotted for students to interact with her.

๐Ÿ““During "I Love To Read" month, we are going to focus on  โ€œCanadian Authors & Illustrators" and find out just  how many of our books in own library were written and/or Illustrated by them.

๐Ÿ““We also have had a few books written/ Illustrated  by past & present  students and family memberโ€™s.

๐Ÿ““Poem reading over the announcements is always a fun way to start our day during   " I Love To Read" Students from all grades are welcomed to the office to read their poem.

"Reading gives us someplace to go when we have to stay where we are"
