Plastic Bag Challenge

Plastic Bag Challenge

Forrest Elementary School is participating in the MMSM Bag Up Manitoba

Plastic Bag Challenge

Since the fall of 2008, elementary schools in Manitoba have collected over NINE MILLION plastic bags for recycling into free Frisbees, bird houses, planter boxes, bird feeders and benches for their schools.

We hope to Inspire students to do more to reduce their waste and consider reusing, recycling and remanufacturing options!

The goal of this challenge is to teach students to do more to reduce their waste and consider reusing, recycling and remanufacturing options. Students are asked to collect as many plastic shopping bags as possible and bring them to their school for recycling.
